Problem/good thing is that when talking about a band like Superchunk, morose means something different to what you expect, so if they go morose, they're still more fun/hooky than your average indie rock band, and morose just means I dunno layered, dynamic, etc
Unless you're a sucker for the morose, in which case TAKE A LOOK AT THAT DAMN COVER and also listen to Mac yelp "when you said you're sorry, you did it without blinking/and you can not know how much that hurts" and feel that and hear that and your heart hurts and mine does too
